To be used on the crust:

1 1/2 cups gluten-free all purpose flour mix (Xanthan Gum in flour mix)

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut up

3 Tbsps of granulated sugar

Quarter tsp salt

4 5 T tablespoons cold water

To make apple filling:

4 medium apples (granny Smith or Honeycrisp works best), peeled and cored then thinly sliced

2 tbl fresh lemon juice

¼ cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons of refined sugar

1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon gluten-free cornstarch

Glaze, (optional):

2 Tbsp apricot jam

Recipe to make the Gluten Free Apple Tart Station By Station

Step 1- Make the crust ready

Whisk gluten-free flour with sugar and salt in a big mixing bowl.
